Tiny little restaurant and food to go. Stopped by this afternoon while I was in the area. I had the grilled beef wrapped in special leaves with some noodles. Was told that is their specialty. My cousin recently brought us some foods from here and that was what I requested so I knew what to expect. A good entree! It was actually very good. Especially the sauce. Amazing. I love it that they give plenty of veggies in the tray for the order. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time (since it was at an odd hour) so the service was good.
Crispy pork is always my goto. It always feels fresh, especially the veggie. Cant say about other dishes on their menu but the crispy pork never let me down
The food was sooooo delicious. The pork was crispy and flavorful. I didn't even think it was going to come with mam nem and I love some man nem.
Cutting to the best part: we ordered 7 banh mi heo quay, and they gave us 7 free iced chamomile teas! The banner in the front says free milk tea with each banh mi purchase, but I prefer and am glad they gave us the chamomile drinks. The banh mi were delicious as well as the combo banh hoi thit heo quay and bo la lot. It was a perfect amount for my family, and we thought the price wasn't too bad. My only two comments on what can be improved are these: play some music because it's so awkward waiting in there with other people, and always have someone watching the register and tip jar. This place is pretty busy, but they should never leave the front unattended. Overall, great place and great food!
BEST bánh tráng trộn in town. I recommend for all my friends and all of them love it. You can request level spicy, and remember tell her to less oily. Tips : you can call to order ahead before 15mins when you arrive because i think only one lady preparing food. Shop was small but clean
Sun 15 Oct. Got here 8:48 am but opening was closer to 9 am (not sure if the Google Maps hrs need updating?). Lady (proprietor was nice), asked if i wanted the iced tea or Viet iced coffee (which i opted for). $7 for big banh mi+drink is a steal. I enjoyed it so much that after finishing i repeated the order except with the Banh Mi Bo La Lot.
Drink was good a little too sweet but I forgot to mention that on the sweetness scale they have. The service was quick and good. I didn't sit, but the vibe is nice and clean space.
